"I have performed Carol Sams' Oratorio "The Earthmakers" as well as two portions from her trilogy of comic operas "Daddy's Money" and "Heaven." Carol's own accomplishments as a professional vocal soloist give her invaluable insight into the intricacies of the human voice. Carol chooses imaginative stories to tell and then sets them to music that is at once contemporary, but also lyrical and melodic. Audiences have responded to "The Earthmakers" with rapt attention and praise.
